Megan Denise Fox was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee on the 16th of May 1986. She had an Irish, French, and Native American Ancestry. She grew up in a very poor household and has one older sister. Fox began her training in drama and dancing at the age of 5, when she was 10 years old she and her family moved to Florida to continue her training and at the same time finish her schooling. She began her acting and modeling career at the age of 13, upon winning several awards at the 1999 American Modeling and Talent Convention in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
Megan made her film debut in the 2001 film Holiday in the Sun. She then made her appearances on Ocean Ave., What I like About You, Two and a Half Men, and The Help from 2003 to 2004. She starred in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen alongside Lindsay Lohan, and after that she made her first recurring role in a television series on Hope and Faith in which she portrayed Sydney Shanowski from 2004 until 2006. The thing that Megan was best known was the array of tattoos on the different part of her body (left section of torso, back near right shoulder, trival waves symbol at her left wrist, Marilyn Monroe -portrait right forearm, star and crescent moon -inner right leg above ankle and Brian on the right side lower of her stomach.
Megan had her break on a 2007 live-action film entitled Transformers, it was based on the famous toy and cartoon saga, where she plays the role of the lead female and love interest of Shia LaBeouf's portrayed by Sam Witwicky. In June 2007, Fox was one of the cast in How to Lose Friends and Alienate People. She appeared in a five page spread for the November 2005 issue of the popular men's magazine FHM and she was ranked number 68 on the FHM 100 Sexiest Women of 2006. Fox also posed for the March 2007 issue of FHM and on July 2007 issue of Maxim. As of now Fox is engaged to actor Brian Austin Green and was preparing for the shooting of the Transformers sequel to be released on the Summer of 2009 in US.
